2020 Beyond BioMed Accelerator

2020 Beyond BioMed Accelerator is held by AstraZeneca in collaboration with BioHub [email protected], Amazon Web Services (AWS). The program will promote the acceleration of the biomedical industry, innovation in medical technology and services.

Startup teams participating in the program would have the privilege to receive mentoring and support from internationally renowned institutions in the biomedical industry. Winner teams would be eligible for three months of intensive acceleration program, one-on-one academic and commercial mentoring. Throughout the program, the teams would be able to connect with prominent scientists and entrepreneurs and become part of a global network. We are looking for startups in the two major professional fields as follows: Digital Health and BioMedicine.

In contrast to traditional science parks that focus on manufacturing and production, the National Biotechnology Research Park facilitates innovative research by closely integrating key institutions to create an efficient cluster effect. These institutions include the Food and Drug Administration of the Ministry of Health and Welfare, the National Laboratory Animal Center of the Ministry of Science and Technology, the Biotechnology Development Center of the Ministry of Economic Affairs, and the Biomedical Translation Research Center of Academia Sinica.
